rushing as an out of state sophomore transfer?

I'd love to rush next fall, I'm just worried are my chances of getting a bid for a sorority really bad because i'm out of state AND a transfer? And do they require letter of rec?

out of state and transfers rush ALL the time and get bids, so do not worry about that! there are certain groups that are more exclusive about knowing people in the chapter or being southern but all of them take both groups. recs are not a must have but can be very helpful if you know someone who can write them for you.

Do letters of Rec have to be from someone in a sorority ? What if you don't know anyone in sororities :/

they have to be from someone in that sorority. so only a chi o can write a chi o rec, only a dz can write a dz rec, etc. ASK ASK ASK your teachers, family friends, mom's friends, literally anyone who went to college! you will be so surprised at who was greek!
