Are minorities welcome to rush? I'm a minority and if I rush and join a sorority, I don't want it to be awkward or for it to be the big elephant in the room. Please respond.

It has way more to do with who you are and how you act than it has to do with your race. If you are a cute, classy girl sororities will want you. There were multiple sororities that took minority girls this past fall.

We had some really cute minority girls go through rush, loved them to death. If anything, if you're cute and nice to talk to, being a minority is only going to help you out because sorority girls will remember you more.
