What does dz look for?

I dropped out during recruitment bc I didn’t get dz back for pref. I really liked them and thought they liked me. From what I saw on here over the summer there wasn’t much talk about them so I didn’t know what to expect. My cousin was in dz here three years ago but didn’t have much info for me. I didn’t think I would have a problem since they aren’t overly popular here but I guess I was wrong. I understand the higher ones like zeta and kappa go off of looks money etc but like there’s not much info on dz or xo which were my tops going into pref. I am hoping I can COB but please give me some tips I’m embarrassed to talk to my cousin about it now
