Honest Opinions
by: NewgirlHi im a PNM and don't know anything abt the reps of sororities on campus. I know three older girls in alpha phi and alpha chi omega and kappa kappa gamma. They each said they would write me a recommendation but I dont even know if that is what I want, are those considered good? Which one would you pick, help

there are a million posts about the reps of the sororities on this site just scroll. also recs don't do anything lol i got three rec letters for three different sororities and didn't even get past video round for any of them. luckily i still ended up in my first choice but don't think it will do much

PNM's don't "pick" a sorority, you will rank the houses after each round but your ranks will not have much weight until the pref round. The sororities are doing the choosing. You have no idea what you think about the sororities or what your options will be until after the first round and you go meet them in person. Keep an open mind and give each of them that invite you back a chance. Do your best at every house and give yourself as much of as an advantage as possible by not saying 'no' to an offer of a rec.
