Does their philanthropy strike a personal cord because of a family member's situation, or is their fundraising event similar another type of fundraiser that you participated in before? Are you interested in how the sorority helps their new members with studying and keeping up their grades? Interested in getting involved in other campus activities and how they can help you with that? Make it personal. Show your individuality and personality. Crack a joke. The actives should lead the conversations so just go with it however. Making a real connection with an active and both of you really enjoying your conversation is the goal.
