Actual Tiers and explanation
by: truth
Top - ADPi, KKG, ZTA, DDD
These 4 are generally acknowledged to be the most selective. They’re all strong and get top PNMs without really having to try. While some of them may be coasting on years of having “top tier” status, they ARE all top tier and probably always will be. All have instant name recognition both here and nationally.
Upper Mid - AXO and APhi
Also strong but tend to be a backup to the top tier instead of a standalone first choice right out of the gate. Have been bringing in great new member classes, but compete more with each other than with the top 4 when it comes to which PNMs they get.
Mid: XO/KD/DZ
More of a mixed bag than the previous six, maybe because they tend to get PNMs who fell through the cracks with the others. Active and respected on campus and will give you a great sorority experience, even if they aren’t considered top tier.
Lower:
DG, Pi Phi, SK, Gamma Phi Beta
These are weaker recruiting chapters who for whatever reason don’t dazzle as many PNMs as the others. For some of these, it could be due to being newer on campus or not as well known nationally. For others it could be because reputation as not being a desirable house is hard to shake once it’s established, even if the current members are great girls, so they get overlooked. While they may be smaller or less socially active than some of the others, you can still find great sisterhood here, so don’t write them off!

Honestly I agree with most of this list. All the downvotes are from mid-tier sororities that have been self-ranking on GR all summer. However, I will say that DDD is definitely on the decline. They're definitely recognizable on campus but I'd say they reached their peak with PC18 and now they're just getting progressively more mid.

Honestly - I don’t think alpha phi is that high here at Clemson. Serious this sight has them much higher than reality
