KKG & Dirty Rushing

To preface, I do think KKG is top. Most of the chapter is comprised of very attractive, social, and "put together" girls. That being said, rush gets incredibly intense and selective. Year after year, Kappa dirty rushes and bid promises left and right so they can get what they think is the pick of the PNM litter. I've had Pi Chi friends tell stories about freshmen girls in literal tears on Bid Day because KKG promised them bids, like really really promised them, only to open their envelopes to see that they were getting their 2nd choice after all. And Kappa does not feel bad about it, it's just part of how they recruit. If you're a PNM, just be weary of that going into rush this fall.

This happens with all of the top houses. Most of them have their bid lists made before recruitment even starts, plus or minus a few girls.

It’s a sad fact that so much of recruiting is done ahead of rush via social media networking…..it was much more fun back in the day when you were meeting potential sisters for the first time during rush. It was much more of a “mutual selection” process.
