Kappa has not performed well at all the past 3 years. In fact KD APhi and even AXO have out performed them in pledge classes. The pandemic ruined most of the super large socials and parties we were spoiled with before. That hurt Kappa a lot, all they have is SN in top frats that hang with them who are probably the worst of the top frats.
