Opinions on Pike?
by: ClemI wanna hear opinions on pike bc I have noticed that they are pulling a lot of girls in good sororities. The older pledge classes seem bad but the recent ones seem better.

It's a mixed bag. they're a bit too try hard but there are some guys that can pull but they took a huge group of GDIs when they first recruited who probably couldn't have even gotten a Chi Phi or TKE bid. So in a few years because of the house and alumni they'll be fine but you'll have to deal a real cringe-fest until these guys graduate.

So Pike went for numbers, it's the same thing Fiji did and it worked for them. The SAE & Theta Chi quality over numbers is a more difficult route. It's easier to get better with 120 geeds paying dues than 50-60 better quality guys.
I'll bet Pike will rise to the top of the middle like Fiji did in a couple years.

Pike has about 20-30 guys who could have gotten bids to a better frat and the rest are embarrassing.
When nationals recruited the new group they focused only on GPA and took every guy that signed up who had a 3.25 or higher.
