Do frats objectify sorority girls?

by: englishproject

I had to pick a controversial topic for a project and one of the evidences I need to use is how sorority girls are objectified (degraded) by fraternities, specifically at Clemson. probably not the best place to ask but if you don't want to comment you can dm me on this instagram account: @cu.englishproject

This entire website is evidence of how fraternities objectify sorority women. The ranks are based mostly on physical attractiveness and are are done mostly by fraternity men. Traits that women value, such as sisterhood, do not factor as highly in GR rankings, as many groups which score higher in those areas are not ranked high on here. When people come on here and say "so-and-so got a good pledge class this year" the very day bids came out, you can bet that assessment was based on looks only (and hence an objectified measure), as no one can tell the character, personality, or cohesiveness of these women from just a few hours of existing as new members.

You hardly ever see guys on this site anymore, most of these ranks come from KKG who base their self worth off of looks, or whoever the troll is. The teoll is probably an ADPi or XO but we have no clue because they aren't as out there as KKG.

Some sororities feed off of it like KKG and ZTA, and use fraternities for free alcohol and parties.

Groups like ADPi and DDD are more God squad types who base value off of looks as well but use fraternities for social status.

It's like it is anywhere else in the world. Guys want to be associated with the best looking girls to increase their social status so they judge most everything off of looks. Girls want to use guys social status to boost theirs and be as popular as possible, so they may ignore more quality guys to hang with more popular guys, regardless of their character. It is what it is.
