As a former Kappa sister, don't rush them...

Hey everyone, I'm going into my 3rd year here at Clemson and I haven't really been active or around my sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, for maybe 3 or 4 months from before the pandemic started.
My reasons for this, and recommending you don't rush them are really just two fold.
1. There is a very large part of the sisterhood, both older and younger girls, who are super... Well, un-lady like. There are a bunch of girls that develop substance issues, both legal and not so legal. There are a lot of stories about girls getting into trouble for blacking out at tailgates or parties and it's not a joke. They do their best to cover it up but it's common.
This wasn't as big as the other, because this is Greek life. As much as other groups hate to admit it, they have similar issues too. It's just that kappa, along with 2 other groups here, seem to have a bigger issue with it.
2. This is probably the biggest one for me, it's just general cattiness and judgement. I rushed with 5 other HS friends, and all except 2 went to different sororities. When I used to go see my friends I would get rude feedback from my "sisters" about how I'm hanging out with a lower tier sorority. They constantly bash and talk about how much better they are, they even have a group of girls who would even reference this site... They would talk about it and how we need to maintain a presence on this site to maintain our standing and reputation.
In all actuality Kappas standing and reputation are not everything it's cracked up to be, and coming from someone who saw it on the inside, it's even worse than half of the sororities here. They're super cliquey and divided between 3 groups of girls who prefer one fraternity over another, and openly argue and fight (not physically thank God) over who they wanted us to mix with next, or over who's frat party we need to show up at. That's another thing, if you don't feel like going out they constantly judge you. It doesn't matter if you don't feel like it or if you have a boyfriend, they're all about maintaining an image. That's it.
Kappa is fake, all they care about is image. Don't let them fool you on this site or during rush, trust me.

Allow me to be the first frat guy you come in contact with. I know it’s hard for you to comprehend, but just because people call you out for this post doesn’t make them a kappa. I know you don’t know what it’s like to be liked/relevant/popular but this is what people do when they see a troll post that they know is fake. I commented on here because my girlfriend is in Kappa and she would never be in a sorority that was described the way you described it, and I would know if that’s how they are because she’s very open with me. And not to mention we mix with kappa all the time so I’m familiar with all the girls. It was obvious from the beginning that it wasn’t a kappa who made this because the timeline didn’t make sense, and also you write posts and comments in a specific style. It’s very sad that you feel the need to make this post, and it’s why you’re in the small sorority that you are. This just makes fraternities want to stay even further away from you when you make posts like this. And what are you even trying to go after kappa for? They’re top while you’re bottom so it doesn’t even benefit you since you’re in different tiers and, frankly, leagues. I’m sorry that you got caught making this post

Hi I'm a Guy too and I can tell you first hand that all of this in this post is true. We only invite Kappa to our events because we are garunteed a good time! Super loose girls black out drunk and high? Heck yeah!!

Ok I didn't mean for it to turn out like this, can we please stop? My point was not to rush a sorority that lies about the sisterhood and lax nature of it all. Not to rush someone because they're "top", because that label comes with a lot of shallow expectations. Usually top groups care more about their image than their own sisters.
