Do Clemson sororities do a lot of social media rushing (following, commenting, dming you on instagram) like they do at other school?

No. That’s not allowed at Clemson. There’s a no contact period for PNMs and chapter women. If someone is doing this to your social media you should report it to FSL

As someone in a sorority Panhellenic has reached out to every chapter letting us know it is 100% allowed as long as there is no bid promising or speaking bad of other chapters

^panhellenic lifted the no contact order because rush became virtual:)

NPC rules changed and chapters are now allowed to contact PNMs as long as there is no bid promising or bashing of other chapters. The point is to promote the greek life experience and encourage girls to register for recruitment.

Is it rude to only follow 1 or 2 of the houses on insta?

I wouldn’t say it’s rude. But if you’re only interested in one or two chapters you might want to keep an open mind or you may end up disappointed. There are more than one or two great chapters you could potentially join.
