by: HiLet me just say that I am in a lower ranked sorority. Putting other sororities down and saying that they are “low life’s” and “losers” isn’t cool. Stop trying to put others down to lift up yourself. Whatever sorority you are in doesn’t make you better than someone else. This isn’t high school. There’s much more to life than being in a sorority and being ranked. AND theres more to Clemson than just sororities.You’re not better than anyone else just because you are in a top ranked sorority :) Start being nice to people. People have been rude to me based on what sorority I’m in. All I gotta say is get a life and stop caring so much about what others are “ranked.”

It’s exactly how the real world works. What do you think happens when you go to work for a company or organization? You likely start at the bottom and that’s what you are known for. Over time you can work your way up and get respect, but initially you are looked at as a replaceable entry level job. Being in a bottom tier sorority means you couldn’t get into a better one because when you went through recruitment they judge your personality and looks. So when you’re in the lowest of the low sorority you’re looked at as weird by everyone else in Greek. When you’re in a top tier you’re looked at as someone who must have something going for them. Middle tier are the average joe’s who have potential. You complain about everyone making fun of you and judging people in bottom tiers but that’s the reality when you’re in the bottom 3. You’re weirdos

actually I like your way of starting at the bottom and working your way up. But a sorority is not like that at all. Just because you’re pretty doesn’t mean you automatically get moved up to the front of the line or your parents giving lots of alumni money. That’s not how the real world works. How is working your way up in a company anything like that? Terrible metaphor. Well I mean at least your pretty, that’s all that matters right? And you’re in a top sorority.. congrats you win at life!!!

The company was a metaphor for sororities. You can work your way up in a company by making progress and improving, just like you can work your sorority up in ranks over time by progress and improving it. And yeah looks don’t make you a top sorority, look at APhi. They’re pretty but they’re middle tier. But top fraternity relations, looks, org size, philanthropy, and social life are what makes up a top tier sorority. That’s why Kappa, Zeta, ADPI, and (maybe) Tri Delt are top, and that’s why sororities like SK are bottom tier. It doesn’t always have to be that way, but as of now that’s how it is. In 10 years the ranks could be completely different.

Sure do hope some of the PNM’s realize that some of the girls in these top tier sororities are just flat out mean as seen in these comments. Glad I’m not in a place where I feel the need to judge and downgrade other sororities:(

Ok well let me know how things work out for you later in life... because making fun of someone based on their sorority isn’t how the real world works <3 so have fun with that. So much more to life than being in a sorority:)
