clemson greek life

look greek life is a bit of a joke at clemson. we have no houses, cops are allowed on any of the halls for “casual patrol” in the quad and all mixers/functions are the same; rented out downtown bars where unfortunately lots of people get MIPs. i still think it’s a great thing to join and am grateful for my organization but no “ranking” will ever be more than just salty people trolling on GR at the sororities/fraternities that upset them in whatever way. remember that nearly 25% of Clemson is involved in greek life and obviously not everyone is on this site, therefore these opinions and ranks are all just a small representation of SOME people’s ideas

Just because Clemson’s Greek life is a little bit different doesn’t mean it’s bad. A lot of people are involved and I’d say it’s better than most northern schools.

I’m only here because of the in-state tuition. Otherwise I’d be out of SC and at Florida State or Florida and do Greek there. And I would have to disagree on the rankings, I think there’s big differences in the 3 tiers of both fraternities and sororities
