Rushing as a transfer

I’m transferring to Clemson in the fall and im prob gonna rush. Will I automatically not get asked back to some sororities since I’ll be a sophomore? I don’t have connections or anything

Sophomores generally don’t have too hard of a time rushing because a good amount are coming from the Clemson bridge program. As a sophomore (if you aren’t from around Clemson at all) you’ll have trouble with kappa, Tri delt, and adpi. But because they tend to rush like that they really miss out on a lot of great ladies (:

As long as you have a decent gpa, you will probably get a bid. But if your gpa is below a 3.5, transfers may not get a bid from some sororities. Some will be hard without connections or legacy but that applies to freshmen as well, not just transfers.

Is there a reason you want to rush as a sophomore? Most sophomores who rush are bridge students and they almost all get bids. Sororities love bridge girls because they are usually the pretty or party girls.
