What is the social scene like here? Are there a lot of parties and greek events?

most sororities/fraternities have mixers once or twice a month downtown, most weekends have parties too and not to mention #dartyszn as long as theyre not on social probation (aka sopro aka chio/psk/dx/dtd rn check on the website if u wanna be sure) The only pain in the ass with parties is how far some of the houses are. Be prepared to uber/lyft. Seriously download both apps sometimes one is waaaay cheaper than the other. Also most have functions a couple times a year too.

Party scene is very lame and tame compared to almost all SEC/ACC schools in the South. Clemson administration makes sure of the that. No real frat houses seals the deal.

Smaller than ECU, UNW, GaSouthern. App State. Sad but it is what it is. Lots of other positives though.

They were the only fraternity having a party this last weekend that's why. For a bottom tier fraternity, it was actually a huge party. It was a few hundred people for sure. But like I said that's only because nothing else was going on. But hey good for them even if it is a one and done!
