I don't know the exact numbers, but I think about 25% of the girls didn't make it all the way thru last year. A bunch of girls that I met dropped out in the first couple of days because they didn't like any of the houses that invited them back. I think if you are open, then you pretty much get a bid in the end.

The truth is that it isn't that hard to get a bid, it is just hard to get a bid at a "top" sorority. If you aren't picky, you will click with one of the sororities and get a bid.

I probably came in unprepared. Some of the girls came in really prepared. Starting with registration -- I just submitted a pretty casual headshot that I picked off my phone. Some girls had professional headshots.

The truth is that if you read thru these posts the rankings are pretty consistent and so that gives you some idea of popularity or desirability, but a those tiers really don't mean anything. You won't get a feeling of what any sorority is really like until you go thru rush and spend time meeting the current girls and viewing the presentations. It is supposed to be a mutal selection process. You rank and they rank and that determines where you end up. In a perfect world your #1 would also have you in the top, but sadly it doesn't always work out that way and that can be really had and that is why a lot of girls on hear talk about crying during rush. Everyone says to go in with an open mind and you will end up where you are supposed to be. Not exactly, but most of the time it really does work out.
