delta gamma/phi mu coming to campus?

You don’t. It took years for Clemson to determine need for a new chapter and to be open to expanding & then a lot of effort from different sorority nationals to show Clemson why their chapter needed to be here. They eventually chose Pi Phi, which then took months of preparing and tons of hard work from nationals and the colonizing class to make successful. You dont get to just “start” one.
That being said, years from now when Clemson inevitably decides to colonize a new chapter, I hope it’s DG.

According to my older sister, Delta Gamma had a chapter here that left in 2001 (I think). They were considered bottom and struggled to get a pledge class. That last year, she thinks they only pledged 15 girls. At that time, KD was slightly above them, then GPB above and then KAO above that. KD nationals sent in am image consultant and helped them improve so they weren't lost as well. I say all this to say, I bet DG isn't ready to jump back in here just yet.

Both AGD and DG went dormant before RFM was in place (piloted 2004), which really helped recruitment strength for many chapters across the country. Theta will probably close before Clemson opens again. A lot of it depends on what other colonies the nationals have going on at the time. DG is very conservative with expansion though.
The previous presentations were:
2008: SK, Pi Phi, APhi
2011: APhi, Phi Mu, Alpha Xi
2016: Pi Phi, AGD, AOII

Most girls drop because they didn't get one of the sororities considered "top". Clemson can add as many sorirititles as they want but it won't make people join if they don't get what they want. Especially when everyone says how terrible a sorority is if it is new.
