Don't rush Pi Phi if you didn't like who you received bids from. You may have only received bids from a 'lower' tier sorority but thought the girls were weird... well.. there's a reason you re received that bid. You receive bids based on which sorority thinks you'll most likely click the best with. Of course there's other factors but that's a different story for another day. Let's be honest, if you only received a bid from GPhi or Theta and dropped out, well you shouldn't have. Rushing Pi Phi will be slightly worse than Theta. Girls who didn't receive any bids will rush them. Girls who never rushed but want to be a founder will rush them.
You girls are very emotional about what sorority you get in because almost every time you want the "good" one. The one with the girls with the looks. If you thought girls were weird in the lower sororities and denied their bids.. you were being very shallow and should've given them a chance at least.
Long story short, rushing Pi Phi will be just like Theta. New and not yet really in a tier. Don't expect it to be a running start top tier. It's been at USC for a while and remains bottom tier. Don't waste your money if you'll drop when you see a girl who's overweight or a girl who's weird. Actually talk and socialize more than once to them.
Frat hard, frat often.

1) this post is so wrong because any one who received a bid from Theta or Gphi automatically can't rush pi Phi
2) there are over weight and weird girls in every sorority here even top tier
3) why be so negative? Not every girl rushes to be in a top tier sorority... there is so much more to a sorority than being sought after by frat guys.
4) alpha phi is the newest sorority.... this is their 4th year here and they are doing really well so who says that won't be pi Phi?

Being part of a colonizing chapter is such a different experience! Instead of finding a sorority through rush you're creating one for other people to find! Plus if you rushed this year then you have to wait for the fall anyways to join as per pan hel rules and they may be doing recruitment at that point. Also, they just finished their second rush at USC so they haven't "remained" bottom, they just got added to the list last year. And however they do there isn't a reflection on what they can be here anyways.
If you're shallow enough to fit all the criteria that OP mentioned then please do not join Pi phi and give them a reputation they do not deserve! Learn about their traditions, philanthropy, and go to one of their events before you get involved with a commitment like this
