Feeling obligated to drop this for any new sisters who haven’t been initiated yet. If you are feeling out of place or stuck or stressed or uncomfortable with this chapter at this point, do not go through with initiation. It does not get better. While the girls who have known each other or are from similar southern backgrounds get along and fit in, if you don’t fit that mold or are OOS or don’t have any quality they see as a major asset, you will not be treated well and they will make it obvious from the get go. The actual nice girls tune out by the time they’re upperclassmen, allowing the insecure ones to dictate and intimidate younger girls to the point where they are too scared to even go to chapter. They rush very well due to their powerpoint system but if you are getting a bid from them you more than likely have the opportunity to get a bid from anywhere else where they might actually be nice to you or at least will have functions that will make the abuse worth it. They’re extremely out of touch, just check out their work week theme about “grow olddd with us” / “dddying to be a ddd” when PC 20 had two members die and their philanthropy is childhood cancer. You can’t make that up. The most recent former president became notorious for causing drama amongst her pledge class & acted extremely hypocritical, sanctioning girls for being downtown when she only knew they were downtown because she was there herself underaged. Many of these girls would rather watch their sisters be punished instead of helping them out of dangerous situations, while the rest are too exhausted and tuned out to speak up about it. It’s really sad to see wonderful girls have the life sucked out of their eyes on account of the cruelty that comes at the hands of this sorority. Chapter advisor is oblivious or “unaware” until it’s too late, & if you aren’t in a clique by the time you’re a sophomore don’t count on ever being in one. The way tri delt rushes is borderline deceitful not to mention against the rules. This chapter is so focused on competing with other clemson chapters that all morals and sisterhood values fly out the window. Not saying that being competitive is wrong, but when it comes at the cost of your sisters’ well-being you know their is something wrong. Just because you have a hall on the quad, where frilly sweaters to game days, have severe side parts, and have family from charleston, greenville, or charlotte, doesn’t make it okay to treat people like trash, especially your other young impressionable sisters who are brought to the point of tears at the thought of attending a philanthropy event. This chapter won’t ever get the kinds of punishments they deserve for their crimes against panhellenic due to their roots at this school, but when someone warns you it’s not for no reason.

Really fun, down to earth girls with great sisterhood! Social but not considered "partiers," and very involved on campus and passionate about philanthropy.

i never really felt connected and always felt judged. I was a DDD here in the early 2000s so things could be completely different now. I don’t don’t…it always felt a bit lackluster to me, and looking back I wish I had preffed a different sorority or not at all.

Tri Delt is a top sorority at Clemson, it is one of the more southern ones but still has a good amount of state girls. They are pretty social on campus and mainly mix with the other top sororities and top frats. overall it seems like there is nothing bad with them they are pretty chill, classy, rich girls

It has the nicest, most hardworking girls. They contribute annually to St. Jude's Children's Research hospital. They attend classes and support the athletic programs at Clemson.
