For some reason sorority rush is overly competitive and a very large percentage of girls drop compared to other schools. But after rush, everything kind of fizzles and it’s not that big a deal to be part of a sorority. Such a small percentage of guys in Greek life compared to girls that a number of sororities don’t have mixers and when they do it the ratio is ridiculous in guys favor. fine but not really worth the hype of rush and Panhellenic is too aggressive with the cuts they require for each round which just makes more girls drop instead of making quota bigger for each chapter like they would at SEC schools that know what they’re doing.

Around 30% of Clemson students are in Greek life. It’s really disappointing that there is no Greek row or houses. Greek life is very casual here once you get past freshman year. It’s a great way to put your foot in the door your freshman year but definitely join other clubs too so you don’t rely only on your sorority/frat for friends/events or you’re going to be lonely most of the time.

Could be a good school for Greek life but the university board and president hates everything to do with it. Still extremely fun but it should be better

Greek life has a variety at this school which makes it great!Depending on what your looking for in personality , parting ,ect this schools sororities and fraternities have it

No, tailgates aren’t as wild as USC, but gameday is still fun. Frat parties are as good as any other school I’ve visited, some frats have really cool (off-campus) houses. The university hates Greek life and the halls on-campus aren’t that nice. Most girls seem to rush, guys less so. There are lots of attractive people who like to party, but not as many as you might find at other state schools. Girls don’t have to be in srats to get into parties, although it does make it easier to find out about parties/get pledge drivers/get invited to events and functions. If you’re a guy and want to party somewhere other than your apartment or downtown, basically you need to rush. Overall Greek life is decent.

It’s alright
