spring 2016 rush

Alright so I'm transferring to Chico next spring and was thinking about rushing but not sure if the fraternities here are accepting of transfer students. I know rushing is more of a freshman thing to do but I've been interested in it for a while now and it's definitely something I want to be apart of it for the next 2.5-3 years of school. I don't mind the age gap to be honest but will it hinder me from getting any bids?

Yeah go rush. Best decision I ever made as a transfer. However do not sign up for a ton of upper division classes like I did. Take few or easy classes when you rush as pledging takes tons of time depending on which frat.

Yeah I'm planning on taking a lighter load since it'll be my first semester there anyway. Thanks for the reply! Any fraternities that I should stay away from? I've heard of some being somewhat strict on what year they give bids to

There might be one or two they discriminate based on age, but most don't. We have a lot of transfer students here.

pike has a kid in it thats 30 (goose) so you should be good

Even at USC they have some older dudes. One guy named Blue is a legend and he is like 50.
