I'm just going to say its really annoying that everyone assumes just because AOII is new that we don't know anything, or that we HAVE to be the ones who wrote this. This is definitely not an opinion of an AOII, I'm just gonna say that. Please try to respect us like we are trying to respect you, we love everyone.

Its funny you bring up respect, didnt your chapter buy a shirt that says "We Rose Above the Rest". By doing that you disrespected all sorority chapters at Chico State by saying just by being here you automatically are the best

In no way did we mean to disrespect the other chapters with our pink rose tshirts. It seemed like a cute tshirt idea incorporating our flower at the time. Yes looking back at it now, I can see how we definitely made a mistake with the use of the phrase. But I promise it was not directed towards the other chapters in a disrespectful manner. As much as the other chapters might not see it, we do look up to you guys. We are just trying to find our way. We're new and by being so new, we are making these mistakes and learning from them, but we are also making great strides and finding our way as a chapter. So please, on behalf of the chapter, excuse any act or tshirt or anything else you may have overheard from a few members that do not represent what we stand for. We mean no disrespect, we are just trying to find our way and be a strong chapter and sisterhood. I hope you understand! <3

I can see why that girl was upset and may have gone too far but I see her point. You guys should have seen that it was too pushy for a new chapter. You guys are bottom for now but that can always change

As a sorority girl that's how I view it. You don't have to agree.
Sigma chi throws some of the best parties and all the guys I've met at AR have been really chill.
Also pike above sigma nu because sigma nu guys are a bunch of extremely awkward guys (from my own experience) & pikes are really awesome to hang out with. Again, these are my views on the ranks, probably not everybody's.
