is it worth pledging for a bottom tier house?

I need an honest opinion. I know that going greek isn't always about having fun and partying but I honestly don't want to join a house that doesn't party a lot. I would rather save my money and go to the parties I already am as a GDI. The thing is I don't have many friends but got along with the active members really well and am happy with my decision. Suggestions?
