fraternity rush week advice
by: csucI am not the most social person but I feel like joining a fraternity will help me be able to network and build connections. I'm going in to rush week without knowing anyone but have a few houses in mind. I've heard that it's best to go to as many houses as you can. Do fraternities expect you to stay for a certain amount of time? Feel free to write down anything you think one should know about rushing.

Just be yourself. If you don't know anyone then yes, go to as many houses as possible. There isn't a time frame we would expect you to stay, it's really up to you. Use your time wisely; if you don't feel like you belong then leave to the next house. Try to talk to as many brothers as possible just so they can put a name to a face or recognize you again. That being said, keep an open mind through the process. Going Greek will be the best decision you ever made. Good luck.
