They need to let the Fraternities throw parties at their houses. This will allow the the students to stay safer instead of having to deal the sketch heads showing up at house parties. Cops need to stop shutting down parties before midnight. Families need to stop moving into the party area of downtown.

Chico has the potential to be a great Greek campus but the past administrations have fumbled hard by holding the Greek community at arms length rather than embracing it and making simple steps to promote Greek life. Zingg paid lip service and only became involved after high profile incidents occurred. If the new president wants to prevent senseless incidents do the following: 1: Enforce and publish grades. 2. Make alumni involvement mandatory. 3. Promote Greek life as a positive option for students. 4. Loosen alcohol ban and not force existing drinking into the shadows (PAC 12/ Big 10 model) with sober advisors at registered parties. Greek involvement will dramatically improve Alumni involvement and fundraising. This is fact.

After seeing SEC schools Chico is above average for West Coast schools.
