sorority 2016 spring rankings
by: chaptown
1. APhi- nationally one of the top sororities, and their presence at chapman is no exception. Yes some of the girls fit the typical Aphi stereotype but they are some of the sweetest girls once you truly get to know them.
2. GPB- they keep getting stronger and stronger each year with great pledge classes. They are kind of like a more approachable APhi
3. DG- not the most well liked girls on campus, but they do have quite a presence during events like Greek week, airbands, and skit
4. KKG- all though they are a newer chapter, they consistently pull in a strong group of girls and most kappas are well liked and respected on campus
5. Pi Phi- this is there first year and they are here to stay. Yes they are a mixed bunch between cute girls you'd want to date and that weird girl you have in three of your classes but they have a lot of potential
6. Theta- everyone knows of they're reputation for being the quirky, yet cute sorority, but they're presence on campus has fallen the past couple of years
7. DDD/AGD- I felt bad picking one of them to be last, so they're tied. Neither of them have much of a social presence but the girls who are in tri delt and agd absolutely love it

Really? This ranking is tired. KKG rose really fast but is having a decline that's just as fast and I wouldn't really say they're well liked at all.
DDD has had a pretty solid social presence, I would say. They had a rough start, but they've definitely improved.
And I would hardly describe piphi as "here to stay." Should be below theta and ddd. They haven't really done anything and no one knows who they are.

this is utter bullshiiiit. aphi only gets top philanthropy each year because they make their members pay $90 for red dress gala. I know several girls who hate it but only stay because they want the "status". uh, what?? overheard a girl say that she pays almost $1000 for dues each year..
kappa, theta, and gphi are fantastic chapters, in my opinion. I have close friends in all three and they have told me the pros and cons of their respective chapters. I've heard some new members don't like gamma phi as much as they thought they would but I'm sure if they give it until the rest of the year they'll like it.
I don't know any pi phis personally but they were so excited and looked so enthusiastic on bid day so I'm sure they truly love their experience. I think it's cool that they have less members than other chapters, that way they can get to know each other well
I don't know that many tri deltas and to be honest I don't think id be great friends with any of them but they're cute and perky and party together.
AGD is chill. If I hadn't chose the chapter I'm in now I would've wanted alpha gam.
i don't know why everyone hates on DG. they're full of spirit and competitive which isn't my thing but good for them for being spirited.

I think the top three (aphi, gphi, and dg) are pretty interchangeable depending on who your are talking to. The girls in those three sororities are all friends too for the most part so that blurs lines a little bit because they all kind of mesh together in the same friend groups and social circles. I think thats awesome and we shouldn't be pegging them all against each other.
