They have a very bad reputation at chapman. They are extreme partners - as in never sober at all- and aren't known for being particularly nice or intelligent. Most people see them as generally pretty fake. They are not very smart or studious and They were in very serious trouble last year with the school and almost got kicked off campus. The frat they were in trouble with DID get kicked off campus. If that is something you are comfortable with then that may work for you, and you will have to decide after meeting them all.

I wouldn't. And I don't know too many girls who would. They didn't make quota last year for a reason.

Once you have been around for a while you will see exactly what dg is all about and be glad you didn't do it

I've met some really sweet girls in DG and others who seem more wild. It really depends on who you end up talking to during recruitment and the vibe you get from them. THAT SAID, please don't feel obligated to join a house just because you're a legacy. I was a legacy in a chapter here too and it stressed me out because there were other chapters I felt more connected to. I ended up choosing a different house than my mom's and I think it all worked out for the best. Fall in love with DG (or another chapter) on your own terms and go in with an open mind. Good luck and I hope you find your home!
