I am planning to transfer ned Fall. I would be a sophomore. Are sophomores discriminated against during sorority rush?

The answer is yes and no. A few groups will probably drop you. Alpha Phi tends to want freshman. But most sororities have no problem with sophomores, and you will probably get a really good house.

nope! lots of girls rush as sophomores and juniors. I certainly did and I got the house I wanted!

No not at all. I rushed and felt no weirdness because I was a sophomore. I actually felt like I had an advantage because I already had my place and wasn't nervous about being liked or whatever like some freshmen who are trying to find their place in college. So please don't worry! Just be yourself and have FUN!

Aphi will drop you because they lose so many girls throughout the year, having freshman helps to keep long term numbers up. Stay away from them anyway.

one or two houses MIGHT drop you for being a sophomore, but they might not. Be yourself,have an open mind and you will be fine.
