Kappa got the biggest pledge class from recruitment this fall. And Tri Delta is still relatively new. I'm sure Phi Sig had a big senior graduating class.
All the houses have the option of doing Spring Recruitment so let's not make false accusations.
It will be in February I believe and it is a really fun process! Instead of intense rounds like Formal Recruitment has, Spring Recruitment includes events like ice cream socials and movie nights. It gives you a better chance of getting to know the girls and them getting to know you! Not all the events are mandatory. More information will come closer to next semester!

Kappa had 74 pledges this year, biggest pledge class of all the sororities. This is the only time they'll be doing Spring recruitment, and they're taking very few girls.

The groups who are going through spring do so because they have room to add more sisters if they want, not because they didn't get enough girls in fall.
It's a good way to join a chapter if you KNOW for SURE that you want that specific chapter. The events are smaller and informal, and therefore less pressure than formal recruitment. You can also make closer personal connections with individuals in each chapter since it isn't a super timed crazy rushing process.
The drawback is that if you want the formal recruitment experience or aren't familiar with every chapter, you might not find the one for you.
Be careful before you choose. But it's all about what's right for YOU.

Kappa only needs 8-10 to be at max and since they are new Chapter Nationals are making them do spring. Think they are ready to be on their own without Nationals making decisions for them!!
