by: Cu01How important is GPA while rushing? Will you get dropped if you have a bad GPA? I'm a sophomore and I didn't go through recruitment last year because my high school GPA was pretty low. My Chapman GPA is about 3.5 but since they ask for high school GPA on registration I am worried.

Hi!
Depending on the sorority your GPA can be a large factor in deciding whether or not you get called back/ a bid. It is just a factor used when deciding out who gets calls backs and who doesn't as there are so many girls going through recruitment every fall. A 3.5 will clear you for any and all sorority requirements though so you should have no problems regarding that. Just put your Chapman GPA down and it shouldn't be an issue.
