grades to rush

I know they said at the orientation that there were certain grades one would need in order to get in. My grades this semester aren't so great mostly due to personal reasons. will this affect my rush experience?

3.0+ won't affect your recruitment = good to go. Under a 3.0 may result in you being cut. There are a few spots for grade risks but only a few aka only the most well liked grade risks get through and actives have to fight to keep them because the grade cuts are the easiest ones to make. I'd say 2.7+ has a decent chance but if you're under that please prepare yourself for some hard cuts. :S

I've heard that DG, Theta, G phi, and AGD require 3.0s and you will get cut if you don't have that. I'm not sure but it's a possibility

Most hard grade cuts are done after day one, so you'll be able to see your options early on if you're worried you may be below the threshold

Almost all sororities have a 3.0 GPA cut off. Some have higher and I believe Tri Delt is the only one that goes below a 3.0.
