sorority recruitment

How big are the sorority pledge classes? And is sorority recruitment competitive here? Do people typically get their top choices or are a lot of people dropped from their favorites?

It is competitive here, but nothing like USC or recruitment in the south were it can be very intense. There are typically around 50 to 70 girls in a pledge class, depending on the chapter and how many girls register for recruitment. Many girls drop half way through recruitment because their top house dropped them, but I recommend finishing because you might end up falling in love with the chapter you visit the next day or the one you get a bid from.

I know that the top houses are competitive and hard to get into. But if you’re cool girl and you click with someone. It shouldn’t be hard.

the system is really weird and girls can get dropped with no explanation when the girls in the sorority really liked them. Recruitment is really fun though, go in with an open mind
