grades

by: Wondering

So I only got into chapman because my mom works there. I had a 3.0 in high school but I have a 3.3 college GPA. Are my grades going to hurt my chances? Are high school grades even looked at anymore?

Well, first off, that's not a good thing to admit, even if it's true. But anything 3.0+ is fine. It's if you're below that you become a potential risk.

Will my college GPA come into play or just my high school matter? Will I be ok with a 3.0?? Even though everyone will have higher?

Your college GPA should be considered more over your high school GPA since it's more recent. Really, it's awesome to get girls with high GPAs but it doesn't factor in that much, we just don't want academic risks (below a 3.0 usually but can differ from sorority to sorority). College is stressful and I certainly don't expect straight As for myself anymore or anyone else. However, that's not an excuse to slack off either! Your sisters are a support group and if you ever need help, you can go to them. Remember that. :)
