spring rush

I heard the purpose of deferring recruitment this year was to get less girls to rush. Does anyone know why Panhellenic would want less girls going greek?

It's more that Price feels sororities can't offer the full experience at our current sizes and wants us to be smaller to feel like more of a family or whatever. XD

Panhel did note in an article though that recruitment can now be 4 days since we're doing it over interterm. So pros and cons?

The reason why we have deferred recruitment is so that PNMs don't just sign up first semester because it's the norm. It gives them a chance to find their own niche at Chapman before doing recruitment. Also, it's a chance to actually get to know girls in each chapter rather than meeting them all at once on recruitment.
