they make recruitment a show which attracts girls but when it comes down to them they are 4th and don't want to admit it. One bad year does make a difference

They are definitely fratty. Can be kind of arrogant and "Rich-kid" ish. Generally not the smartest. Care a great deal about how "cool" other guys they hang out with are...and by cool they mean partying, talking to girls, working out. Stay away from intellectual conversations with these folk...and by intellectual I mean anything besides party talk.

They're the losers in high school that started partying/meeting girls because they were in a frat and suddenly think they're amazing. As a result, they act all "cool' but still have very nerdy/weird/uncool characteristics. Basically they think they're something they're not and it's just weird...yes there are Fijis that aren't like this and really are cool...but most aren't.

Truth is, unlike many chapters at Chapman, Gamma Phi has a tradition of excellence. Winning Sorority of the year 3 out of the last 4 years (at least), always placing during Greek Week, having outstanding recruitment results, and always in top tier for grades, this chapter does work. ONE year of getting 2nd at Greek Week and getting 2nd for grades isn't going to change what years of tradition have established. You'd be lucky to be a Gphi.
