What's Hot - Chapman University - CU

I've found that APhis are a lot nicer to me, as a guy, than they are to other sorority girls. Mostly decent people on a personal level, but they are vicious when it comes to rivalries. Definitely very visible as a sorority-- took a large pledge class this fall. Most all of them are incredibly hot, but you have to look a little harder for a personality amongst them. Big-time partiers. They tend to hang off the elbows of Fiji boys when they go out.

I've got great friends who are Fijis, but some of their brothers utterly lack social skills. You really never know what you're going to get with one of them-- could be a chill guy, could be a creepy frat-star-wannabe who didn't get into Pike or SAE. Generally speaking, Fijis tend to be one of the easiest frats to start socializing with, but they quickly run out of interesting things to say. They seem to be tight brothers, though, and they're always throwing parties.

The Phi Taus are probably the most well-rounded group of gentlemen on campus. For one thing, they truly are gentlemen and try very hard to keep to the highest standard (as a matter of fact, they insist that they are a "fraternity," NOT a "frat"-- and that they don't have "pledges," they have "associates") . They can be somewhat socially awkward until you get to know them. They're everywhere on campus; their philanthropy is possibly the school's best and they've got brothers involved all over.

Some of my favorite people on campus are Thetas. Nice bunch of gals-- they generally avoid the cattiness and backbiting that other sororities spend all their time doing. They do get lost in the shuffle occasionally, as DG and APhi are definitely more visible, but their fall '12 pledge class looks fantastic. Don't sleep on these girls.

The Delts are a very classy, academically-driven group of guys. They don't party quite as much as most of the frats, and they're often accused of being kinda uptight, which is true of at least some individual members, but they do get involved on campus and it's not often you'll hear of anyone having a serious problem with a Delt. Friendly towards would-be members during Rush.

They chose to be selective and make a strong statement. They are some of the most involved girls, have the best sisterhood, and have an amazing time. Every Phi Sig I've met loves and is proud to be a Phi Sig. People who try and drag them down clearly feel jealous or threatened. Because truly there is no other reason. Phi Sigs don't feel the need to try and tear down the rest of the Greek community. They are about building people up.

Come on boys! Beta is new so it is understandable a little that they aren't the most well known yet but they have to start having bigger parties! I love hanging with these guys when i do, they are sweet and a lot of them are good looking or at least fun to party with. I don't think they are that shy but they should try harder to get noticed. I think they are like Fiji but a little less douchey to be honest, but fiji definitely knows how to be more social. Maybe a mix between Delts and Fiji?

It's sad that a community who prides themselves on great panhellenic spirit comes on here to attack a house that has such wonderful Greek spirit, amazing involvement in all aspects of campus life and has the best sisterhood on Chapman's campus. Phi Sigs-good for you for speaking up, being selective and congrats on your pledge class.

Not historically one of Chapman's top houses, but that could change this year. They've come a long way in the few short years they've been here. Pledge class is moderately good-looking, interesting to talk to, and absolutely MASSIVE, so they should be very present on campus in the short run; it's up to them to make good decisions and instill a strong sense of values and sisterhood in the new Tridelts-- that might be a challenge with a small core of returning sisters.
