Such a great group! The most RAs, the best grades, the past two homecoming kings, the BEST sweetheart (also the homecoming queen), and they dominate the important campus organizations and positions. I think they are also the biggest fraternity now. Anyway, the other frats at Centre are great too, and each organization has their own unique positives and negatives...check them all out and decide for yourself!

People forget about Beta...definitely the redheaded stepchild of the greek community. Beta tries really hard...and that's one of their problems. I think they see themselves as a reaction against the other fraternities, which is why they still aren't accepted. They definitely have some potential, but they have some huge obstacles to overcome (no house, no charter, no good events or parties, and only 20 or so members) before they'll be taken seriously within the greek community.

Deke has really come a long way. There is still some latent resentment towards them as newcomers to the greek scene, but I've been impressed with their progress. I did not like them at all for my first few years here, but they seem to have cleaned up their act. They appear to have a strong brotherhood and have amped up their commitment to service. Of course, they have their problems-they're still on the small side, low grades, and low membership...but you could do a lot worse than deke.

Beta is still really new but they do have a lot of potential. They seem to have good grades and for the most part they're all really good guys, but they need to step up their game socially. Hopefully they'll get a house soon
