They seem like a nice group. Don't seem them much around campus. Sisterhood has room to grow from what I know.

I have a very good friend in this chapter. The sisterhood is horrible. Some of the stories I have heard make me cringe. I think most have forgot what being a good sister is. Very cliquey and a ton of backstabbing. It’s actually sad. I honestly don’t understand why my friend stays in this chapter and I’ve told her.

Completely different girls during recruitment than they are in real life. Unfortunately these girls are extremely rude, stuck up, and their sisterhood lacks. If you’re looking for a genuine group of girls who care about you then this is not the chapter for you.

A lot of stuff on this site is irrelevant and mostly a joke for you GDIs planning on going Greek. However, some of the stuff you read might be true or it might not. Your job is to figure out for yourself. An honest opinion is that these girls still have a lot to prove. These girls and ZTA are the reason why there are splits in Greek life. I’m not saying don’t rush them, but be mindful. If you’re a young woman and want to be treated with respect in society, this chapter of Phi Sigma Sigma will not get you there. I believe them and ZTA are the reason why most women coming out of CMU end up doing clerical work or the reason why women are still viewed in a stereotypical manner (I.e blonde bimbos, or house moms). So decide who you want to be, because if you plan on being an administrator, CEO, or any career path you want to take, you won’t get there with these girls

lmao WHAT is this review??? not in phi sig, don't know a lot of the girls, and i'm in a different chapter. you must not be in greek life or know anything about it. this review is so misogynistic. the chapter you're in doesn't dictate what you can and can't be in the future. idk a lot of these girls but i'm sure they're capable of doing whatever they want in life. shame on you

I don’t know who you are, but that’s not all the way true It’s the people in their chapter that influence other girls and their behavior later. It turns them into stereotypical sorority girls. Phi Sig definitely lives up being like Alpha Phi at Bama. Just pretty dumb

This review is eerie in so many ways. I am a phi sig alum from 2001 and contrary to what this young gentleman believes is possible, I am a very successful business owner! I think this reviewer possibly has some issues with a girl not liking him back or maybe he is just a very self absorb individual. Also, I do not remember us actually ever saying “GDI” as a way to describe potential Greek students. I think the acronym is a rude gesture and comment. He also mentions “it is your job to figure it out” yet he makes assumptions based on zero information to try and influence your decision. If you would like to find out where our alumni sisters are today, ask the Alumni chair during rush. You will be happy to hear some of our great achievements. Please make your own choice without any of these unfair and biased reviews per this website.

Seriously do not listen to anything on this website. Greek life at cmu is mostly mature and people should have to bash other sororities to get their girls to their chapter. If only you could figure out who posts these mean things because it is 99% other chapters and those are the people you don't want to join. Every sorority including phi sig has great qualities and girls so I just suggest forming your own opinion when you meet people in the chapter when you are looking to join.

Somebody is working overtime to try to make Phi Sig look bad on this site. PLEASE worry about your own sisterhood and forget about bashing other houses. When you post 4 or 5 negative things in a row it's obvious what you're up to. Phi Sig is one of the most sought after sororities because they are down to earth and don't try to put on airs. They truly care for one another, have one of the best houses on campus, and are very involved in their philanthropy and supporting other orgs. GET A LIFE.
