This is really sad. As an upperclassman, I've seen Phi Tau go from being one of the better fraternities on campus to falling off the map. They used to throw great parties and fun socials, but ever since St Patty's Day in 2016, it's been a hard downhill slope for them. Countless incidents that kept pushing them under. I know some really great guys that have gone alum before this and also some that are (or were) involved through all of this, and they shouldn't labeled as terrible people. Sure they messed up, but it doesn't take away from the fact that those few guys are still great people as individuals, some just with big hearts who would do anything for anybody and some who treat their significant others like queens. Unfortunately, as a whole they're guilty by association. Phi Tau definitely messed up, but don't forget about those few good guys that still are great people.

Kicked off campus? But still on the rise of popularity? Welcome to Phi Tau. These guys are awesome guys and they are making a name for themselves whether they have letters on their house or not. Definitely not letting anything that has happened effect them, and only growing from it. Still on the rise, and only getting more popular.

This post makes them look EVEN WORSE. Your saying that they aren't letting any of this affect them which shows carelessness. Most of these guys are very self-centered.

Are you in high school ? This statement just confirms how and why you’re in the mess you’re in. If being popular is your only worry, you really need to grow up. Yikes!

Anon you sound like a complete idiot. Hard to believe you’re in college with your lack and f maturity. Oh wait, you must be one of those groupies which explains your love for immature boys.

Reading these reviews I find interesting. I also find it difficult to believe that they were kicked off for no reason or they were a target. The current members not the alumni chose to disregard rules in some way for this to happen. Ultimately, it falls on the president and the other leaders who allowed it. They are the ones who should have stepped up and said no. One would think if they really cared about the chapter. If my memory serves me correctly, didn’t they go ahead and have a date party after they were put on suspension? Correct me if I’m wrong but I think they did. Rules are rules. Again, the president and social chair should have said no if they knew and cared. Obviously something did happen for this decision to be made. It’s easy to point fingers but if you really think about it, I think it’s obvious they screwed up as a chapter one too many times. Bottom line how sad they got so caught up in whatever that the entire chapter had to go down after a long history. If they didn’t take the time to fight the accusations with facts and proof then they only have themselves to blame or they are guilty. You decide.

NEW ON GREEKRANK

Phi Kappa Tau has its flaws as any other group does on campus... However, if you as an individual were able to take the time and familiarize yourself the members of the group before making a judgement, then you would notice that they are a very loyal and tight group of guys who enjoy being together and making the most out of any situation. It is unfortunate that many people haven’t taken the time to fully understand the dynamic of this group. The climate of greek life on the campus is changing rapidly and phi kappa tau was the second group this year to be made an example of on the campus. They will be missed.

Know for great party’s on campus. Seems to be a good group of guys and kinda are becoming the Saturday place to be in Mt Pleasant. Seems like a big new class average looking guys but they all seem nice. I’ve never gon to a party and felt uncomfortable and with frats that’s the biggest thing that matters rn.

If your looking for a boyfriend, run fast and run far NOW. None of these men are boyfriend material and their body counts are higher than the number of PKT members. A lot of people say they are really creepy. I half agree with that. Some of them appear to be very nice until you realize that they just want to get you in their beds. These men have a hard time committing to ANYTHING except drinking excessively and partying and hooking up with every female they lay their eyes on. As far as character goes, they lack in this area. They are so tight with each other but no one else. Stay away from PKT.

Went to a party at their B house Valhalla (lol) last semester...... what a bunch of creepy guys. I’ll never go back. The guys there were tweakin so hard and just straight up creeps. I’m surprised they haven’t been arrested yet for the stuff that goes down at the B house. One of their members walked out with me just shaking his head. I see now why they have the rep they have. Gives Greek life a bad name. Not all are like that.

These are some of the nicest fraternity men I have met while being in a sorority. They’re all so easy to talk to and are willing to give a helping hand if needed. They have a strong brotherhood and it shows, they knew how to throw great parties. And lastly, most importantly they did not deserve to be removed from campus. I love these guys!
