what are the real sorority rankings here?
by: HaylieWhat are the real sorority rankings here? Top tier? Mid Tier? Bottom Tier?

Top tier: AST DZ
Middle: ASA
Bottom: SK, SSS
Obviously AST and DZ are top. That goes without saying. Stereotypically of course Tri-Sigma is at the bottom, because they don't fulfill the "roles" the other sororities do. However, Sigma Sigma Sigma purposefully goes out of their way to create a diverse sisterhood. They aim to create an environment of acceptance and love. They returned to campus in 2008 with a drive to make themselves different. To embrace the idea that all women have potential and deserve a sisterhood. And honestly most tri-sigmas would rather be inclusive than be top-tier

In order of top to bottom
Alpha Sigma Tau- pretty, usually blonde, outgoing, recruits the best girls
Sigma Kappa- Fun, funny, party girls, recruits good girls
Delta Zeta- Sweet, recruits almost anyone, doesn't win a lot
Alpha Sigma Alpha- involved, they have a wide variety of people
Sigma Sigma Sigma- Sweet girls, but not a very big chapter. Recruits anyone

Obviously you're not "non-Greek" because you care about sorority ratings. But you're either uninformed or intentionally posting wrong information. Delta Zeta won spring queen, Greek goddess, Greek woman of the year, highest GPA, most philanthropy hours, highest fundraising, intramurals, and they are always well represented in every SRO and their executive boards. Each sorority on campus has a "type" of girl but comparatively DZ is proudly one of the most diverse.
Rating one Greek organization over another is pointless (as are sites like this one in which people rate other groups lower to make theirs look better rather than highlighting the good things about each of them). There is a place for every woman who wants to expand her college experience through sorority.
