Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority Ratings at CMU

Alpha Chi is, honestly, not a dominant or super popular sorority on campus. I think one reason for this is that AXOs are not all about their sorority. Most girls are in it for the sisterhood and support while they pursue achievement other areas of their lives (like academics and other extracurriculars). They tend not to party as much (though there are definitely exceptions). They have a reputation as weird, but I think that the girls just don't feel pressure to change themselves to be a part AXO

Least prestigious, probably because they're the newest. I hear mixed things from the girls in here. Not particularly attractive even by CMU standards (though there are certainly exceptions).

I chose AXO over DG and Theta. Tried to rate this honestly, yes we may not be the most popular, but we have the highest GPA and are nice and have a great sisterhood unlike the rest of the sororities. We don't need to party to have fun.

I hate all the comments on here that are like "ACHIO IS SO NICE, SO WHAT IF THEY DON'T PARTY?" Let's get real, we don't hate you because you don't party. You're awkward, you're an embarrassment to the FMR process, you're not nice you are freaking angry and angsty about the fact that you are acknowledgedly the worst sorority on campus. Embrace what you are and work with it, don't fight it. You want girls who will appreciate your house and feel like the finally "fit in somewhere."

I dropped out of FMR because the house I wanted dropped me after the 1st night, AXO was one of the 4 I went back to and it was really weird. The girls had really awkward conversations, but they seemed nice enough and the sisterhood seemed strong.

AXO girls have high standards and live up to them. They're smart, driven, and really involved on campus. But they're also fun to be around and know how to relax and have fun. The sisters are always there for each other-- stress, boy problems, whatever.
