I know everyone says DG's top tier. But honestly, the girls are NOT classy - known mainly for partying. And the house seems like a battlefield these days. At least they're pretty? That should get them far in life...

Welp. Kappa's got some problems. They didn't take enough girls during FMR last fall, and had to COB to total. I also heard that their recruitment chair had already picked out the girls to give the COB's to before the process even began. There've been some girls disaffiliating lately...not a good sign. Rumor has it the house is cliquey. And it seems like they're basically trying to compete with DG/Theta for looks.

So. Alpha Chi Omega. Where to begin. They have a strong sisterhood, and all of the sisters seem to really care about each other. Older sisters may be odd, but their past couple of pledge classes have been cute. They're pretty classy - most of them don't party hard. They're fairly involved on campus - I just think they're a little quieter about it than other sororities. They did well last year in Greek sing, but this year's was pretty bad. I think they're moving up in the sororities rankings.

At first, everyone was excited to see what Alpha Phi would become at CMU. But it became clear early on that the organization was being steered towards typical sorority girls. They don't really have a presence on campus - which may be related to that they don't have a house - but there's not a lot to say about them. They seem to be trying to be really exclusive, and it'll be interesting to see how that works out for them...

So the actions of one or a few members are the fault of all the brothers and alumni? Alongside SAE, Beta is the only fraternity that has maintained it's place on the quad and strong numbers throughout it's nearly 100-year history so obviously something has been done right.
