If I withdrew from rush in the fall bc I wanted to see if I could handle my workload first year will sororities not accept me when I rush again although I'm ready now?

No they won't, if anything, they will most likely not even remember you. I did that and I'm in one now.

Yes, you can still go through recruitment and people will most likely remember you, or at least your name. Nobody will judge you for focusing on school for a bit. Everything will be OK. Good luck!

I wouldn't worry about it. People do it all the time for a variety of reasons. There might be one or two sororities that red flag you but most won't.
