zta's can't run for sweetheart or pledge mom

My friend who's in ZTA said they can't run for Sweetheart or pledge mom and that they are breaking the rules if they do. There's so many ZTA sweethearts and pledge moms outside this school. I don't understand why they don't do it. Is it because they are new?

Some sororities aren't really "supposed to" but they let it slide. im sure most of them technically have laws against it but no one really follows it besides them because they're new. I know my chapter discussed it a few years ago but it still happens and no one has talked about it since

I feel like people are making a big deal out of nothing. We don't actually know for sure if they can/cannot have sweethearts. So at this point people are basing and arguing over things off of rumors with no supporting evidence what so ever.

We as Panhellenic should agree not to do the sweetheart thing. We should be focusing on our goals and let fraternities do their thing.
