info night
by: WowThis is my perspective from I for night and I'm a potential FYI. Pi Kapp and Sigma Chi has gotten my attention because they do focus on their brotherhood. I also was going to rush Kappa Sigma and Phi Tau but their video was just about partying. To me anyone can throw a party and invite girls. I hope other potentials read this because you are simply wasting your time if you join a house that just parties and doesn't focus on building a strong brotherhood

Yeah I was really surprised that Sigma Chi didn't show a video. Something tells me that they are trying to do something different. Kappa Sigma showed up in bunches. Looks like they are really serious about recruiting members. As far as Pi Kapp, they didn't seem to catch my eye

most houses dont really throw many parties, I know such a surprise. Its usually 4 or 5 huge themed/open parties and a good number of smaller exchanges with a specific sorority. Then its going to other sorority philanthropies, ifc sports, throwing your own philanthropy, and a brotherhood event every now and then. So note that "huge parties" was only one of the six things I mentioned. Too many parties will get old there are hardly any juniors in the 'party all day erry day' houses because most of them have to deactivate from the toll it takes on their grades. keep these in mind young rushee. there have been too many guys that have dropped or been forced to leave the greek system because of this. just my two cents
