Either way you slices it, Bristol Palin probably would not get in here. This isn't a school that you can buy your way into.

Clearly you don't go here. Most everybody in my dorm had a minimum of a 4.0 in high school. This school is not easy to get into, and it is even harder to graduate with a solid major. It is very competitive here and we have a lot of international students who have strong math backgrounds. Also, we can't pay our teachers to tell us we are brilliant, so they have no problem giving us a C. I know people who transfer out of here to private school, and their GPA skyrockets.

This is not a top ten acceptance rate school. Try ivy league schools, USC, or top tier state schools like UCLA or UVA. A much better education there, better people, better greeklife, and people who can actual contribute to social unlike all you dumb lb kids.

The person didn't say top ten acceptance rate. It is a top ten for amount of applications.

Most people would agree that for most majors CSULB is not as good as UCLA or UVA. And CSULB is not even close to IVYs. But the fact that you tried to sneak USC into those tiered schools is actually funny. USC is not even close to any of those schools you mentioned. And most people that can get into CSULB could easily get into a pay the fee buy the degree school like USC. Bristol Palin would be a perfect USC student.

USC is consistently ranked in the top 25 nationally. Last time I checked I don't remember CSULB being ranked anywhere near the list and I think anyone with a brain would rather go to USC and csulb

USC is one of the least respected schools in our region. It really is a school for people who can't get into state schools and have to buy their degrees. Sorry, but it is true. Nobody really wants to go to USC. Some like it once they get there, because they get better grades than they did in High School, because it is so easy. It just really is a joke of a school. Not respected by anyone. And I've never seen it ranked high on anything. If you think it is top 25 you are delusional.

USC would be nobody's reach school. Why would someone reach to pay 6xs what something is worth.
