no show sorority

I am looking to join a sorority in the spring but I want to try one that comes off the way it actually is. My cousin was in a sorority at Riverside and told me how a lot of the girls would put on acts and pretend to be interested in you during recruitment. :(

What is everyone's opinion on which houses are the most honest and upfront when it comes to joining? I really hope to be Greek and want to find a house where I am comfortable

Anyone but Alpha Phi and Sigma Kappa. Both of those houses put on a great show during recruitment. Their sisterhoods are very poor and a lot of them don't like each other. You can't go wrong with other sororities

Seriously though, Alpha Phi is known to put on a good show but doesn't always live up to their image. Sigma Kappa is literally filled with she Devils . Stay away from them if you want to make it out of college with your soul intact

If all the girls talk about is their philanthropy, they're probably fake. Yeah most girls like it, but we all know that's not the main reason they like it and if that's all they run their mouths about and don't mention anything else, red flag

stay away from sigma kappa because they are all stuck up but put on a good show during recruitment. I have never met a sigma kappa who did not constantly throw shade about sk

Avoid Sigma Kappa and Alpha Phi

Alpha Phi put on a good show. They were extremely fake during recruitment.

Join a house like DZ or ZTA or tridelt. Sisterhood will end up meaning more to you than being in the "cute hot fun" sorority in the long run when you're w senior and that ish doesn't entertain you anymore! ZTA is new but I hear then they along well and by nature there's less drama since they're all had to work together. Dz is known to have down to earth girls too. Tridelt hands down, imo, is the most genuine house on campus
