by: 49erI would love to see AEPhi sorority return here to Long Beach State. They would really bring diversity to our Panhellenic. This is a world class school. It would be great to have a world class Panhellenic!

This school is big and there are a lot of people that go here. Hence the many different world views within the Greek System. I , for one, would love to have Alpha Epsilon Phi come back on campus. There are a lot of people who want to see the more cultured and academic side of the Greek System expanded and nurtured. There is a significant group that really wants to grow the party side of Greek life - they tend to push for the bigger, more "well known" sororities. The problem with that thinking is that many of those sororities don't want to come on campus because of our housing situation. I personally feel like we could engage a larger group of people with the more cerebral/philanthropic groups. I predict that this is going to be a big fight as to who come on next

I certainly would hope that our school's Greek system would move in a more multi-cultural direction that is reflective of the school.

I'm not OP, but I do agree that they would be a good addition if we want to go for the more academic and higher end east coast vibe. Will probablynever happen though.
