by: StudentI'm thinking of going through rush and j had a few sororities
#1 by: real stereotypes
Alpha Phi - gorgeous, fun, party girls, involved on campus, fraternities love them, most people first choice in rush, some classy, very California girl
Delta Zeta - classy, academic, most are attractive, they get great internships with various firms and entertainment groups in the area.
Gamma Phi Beta - typical sorority girls, some are hot and some are cheesy, they do well in rush, but they are mostly communications majors (not a compliment).
Zeta Tau Alpha - Got off to a great start, too early to pigeonhole them
Delta Delta Delta - Really strong house, very eclectic, lots of diversity, involved on campus, some are really pretty, classy, sort of academic.
Alpha Omicron Pi - really nice women, some really pretty, academic, a little more eclectic, great personalities, great sisterhood,
Delta Gamma - an interesting mix of women, lots of diversity, you get a little of everything in this group, very involved on campus
Sigma Kappa - A little rougher around the edges, but really cool group of women, not your typical sorority girls, strong sisterhood.
All the sororities get parties with fraternities because there are so many fraternities and only eight sororities. So you won't have a hard time meeting guys, no matter what house you join.

Let me break it down for you OP. If you just like to party and NOT do any philanthropy, then I would rush Alpha Phi or Gamma Phi Beta.
If you are looking to get involved in the community, then go with Delta Zeta or AO Pi.
If you want to help a sorority that just started, go with Zeta Tau Alpha.
And DO NOT rush these houses: Delta Gamma and Sigma Kappa.
Delta Gamma has the most expensive dues in Greek Life and they aren't even a middle tier house. Sigma Kappa has a HORRIBLE sisterhood. I always hear them gossip bad things to one another, especially at the library. Sigma Kappa is a VERY cliquey sorority. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I think my favorite part about this reply is that it's spot on. It is missing the cons of each house though.
